Hello, I'm

J. Abimael Santos C.

I architect and maintain systems.

My expertise spans cloud platforms, container orchestration, automation frameworks, and security protocols. I specialize in building scalable, resilient systems that enable organizations to achieve their goals.

About Me

My path into software engineering began in my early hustle "adult" years, driven by an obsession with understanding how systems work beneath the surface. What started as experimenting with small scripts quickly evolved into building distributed applications, automation frameworks, and high-performance tools across industries like banking, insurance, start-ups and overall enterprise software.

Today, I specialize in engineering scalable systems, automating complex testing strategies, and creating resilient, high-quality products. I’ve worked across the mentioned, and cloud-driven environments where reliability, security, and performance are critical.

When I'm not writing code, I’m exploring scientific computing, contributing to open source, or researching advanced system-level concepts in Rust and modern architectures.

Here are a few things I'm focused on lately:

  • Building scalable distributed systems
  • Engineering automation solutions and reliability pipelines
  • Designing efficient developer tools and CLI utilities
  • Contributing to open source and emerging Rust ecosystems
